Detailed 7 Days Best of Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park, Game Drive and Guided Walking Safari
You shall be picked up from the airport upon your arrival by your safari guide, or from your hotel of stay. He will welcome you to Tanzania and brief you about your 7 days safari in Tanzania. Thereafter, you shall proceed to transfer to Tarangire National Park, which is known for large herds of elephants, giant baobab trees and numerous bird species, with your packed lunch.
Engage in a game drive in Tarangire national park and look out for different wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, lions, leopards among others. After the game drive, enjoy a guided walking safari experience for a chance to come up close with nature. Proceed thereafter to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park, Optional Night Game Drive
After having breakfast at your lodge, you will head out for a full day of exploring Tarangire National Park and its attractions as well as enjoying an amazing game viewing experiences as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees in the national park. Along the Tarangire River, you will see a variety of animals in the morning since they are very active at this time of day such as elephants, zebras, antelopes, elands, gazelles, among so many others you might have otherwise missed. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the park, and enjoy yet another game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge, you shall transfer to Serengeti National Park for a wild game viewing experience. You will engage in a game drive around the national park and look out for wildlife species such as wildebeests, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 4: Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari, Game Drive
Wake up early for your hot air balloon experience over the plains of the Serengeti. Watch how the hot air balloon is prepared, and get onto one to soar over the park. Look out for various wildlife in the park, as well as watch one of the most beautiful sun rises. Climax your experience with a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Maasai Bomas
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti national park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination, which is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through history of mankind. Enjoy a game drive in the conservation area as you drive to the Maasai Bomas for a cultural interaction with the locals that reside in the conservancy.
Learn and observe their culture and way of life. as you drive to your lodge for check in and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn for Budget, Hhando Coffee Lodge for Mid-range, Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge for Lower-Luxury, Melia Ngorongoro Lodge for Luxury.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Crater Rim Walk
After breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater, which is home to numerous wildlife species, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, you will enjoy a crater rim walk bringing you up close with nature, following animal tracks in the company of an armed ranger guide. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
