Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Tanzania Safari – Calving Experience
Day 1: Fly to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
Upon your arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, you shall meet your safari guide waiting for you. He will welcome you to the Serengeti, brief you about the safari and then proceed to drive you to the lodge/camp. Enjoy wild game viewing en-route as you drive to your lodge. Check in, relax as you wait for lunch.
Later at 3pm, head out for a game drive in the park and enjoy wild game viewing. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Ndutu area, Game Drive
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for a transfer to the Ndutu area for more wildlife viewing experiences. After checking in at your lodge and having lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive to explore the wilderness of the Ndutu area.
Wildlife species in the Ndutu area also include elephants, zebras, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, leopards among others. You will be driven back to your lodge after your game drive as you prepare for dinner and overnight at Sero Tented Camp for Budget, Ndutu Ngorongoro Camp for Mid-range and Budget, Lake Masek Tented Lodge for Luxury.

Day 3: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience
You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge, Masai Bomas Visit
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti national park and driving to your next wildlife-viewing destination, which is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through history of mankind. Enjoy a picnic lunch, and get to interact with the Maasai tribe that lives within the conservation area. Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn for Budget, Hhando Coffee Lodge for Mid-range, Acacia Ngorongoro Luxury Camp for Lower-Luxury.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
After breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater, which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species, which can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, you will enjoy a Maasai Bomas visit to interact with the locals, and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 6: Departure with En-route Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After your breakfast at the lodge, check out and with your packed lunch you shall enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park. Look out for various wildlife in the park, including giraffes, zebras, and large herds of elephants, among so much more. Proceed for a transfer to the airport enjoying your lunch en-route. You shall arrive in time for your flight at Arusha Airport, ending your safari.
