Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Rhino Tracking, Top of the Falls
Our Uganda safari guide will pick you up from your hotel of stay in Kampala or Entebbe or the airport upon arrival (early morning). After a short briefing, start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an adventurous rhino-tracking experience. Get to come up close with rhinos in the company of armed ranger guides. Look out for birds as well during the walk.
Thereafter, enjoy lunch at a select restaurant and then proceed on to drive to Murchison Falls National Park, which is located in northwestern Uganda. Once in the park, listen out for the very thunderous waterfalls as you drive to the top of the falls.
Marvel at the sheer beauty and power at work. Be ready for the splashing water to soak you as it makes its forceful way through the 7m gorge.
Drive to the lodge while looking out for wild game like antelopes, zebras and more. Check in at the lodge; relax as you wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park, Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of your safari, you will meet with your driver guide for the morning game drive. This morning game drive starts very early in the morning. During the game drive, follow different game tracks, such as Buligi and Victoria, where you will view various animals, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, and Uganda kobs.
Birds in Murchison, like the Black-Bellied Bustard, Secretary Birds, Open-Billed Stork, Grey-Crowned Crane, and Goliath Heron, among others, can be spotted while on a game drive in the park.
After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, engage in an afternoon boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls. The boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours. During the launch cruise, enjoy an opportunity to cruise meters away from animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water and aquatic bird species such as kingfishers, fish eagles, bee-eaters, herons, and cormorants, among others, flying by.
After this boat safari on the Nile Delta, meet your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Departure
On the last day of your Uganda safari, enjoy a relaxed breakfast. Check out and, thereafter, meet your Uganda safari guide for a drive back to Kampala, with an en route game drive enjoyed yet again as you leave the park. Make a lunch stop over at a select restaurant, and thereafter drive on to Kampala for a drop-off at your select hotel or residence, or to the airport for your onward travel. This ends your safari with us.
