This 10 days Serengeti and Zanzibar tour will start in Arusha and end in Zanzibar. During the Zanzibar safari, you will visit different destinations including Serengeti national park where you will engage in a game drive and search for wildlife species such as the big five among others.
You will also visit Zanzibar island during this 10 day tour and go to Stone town, visit the Chnguu island and also go to the beach and also engage in the safari blue experience.
Day 1; pick up from Kilimanjaro international airport
Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport on the first day of your safari and welcome you for the safari. After a short briefing, your guide will drive you to the hotel in Arusha for check in.
Depending on your time of arrival, you will engage in a tour around Arusha town to experience the way of life of the locals and also visit different places around Arusha including the Maasai market and craft shops or you can stay at the hotel relaxing. After the tour around Arusha, you will be driven to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park
On the 2nd day of your 10 days Serengeti and Zanzibar tour, You will have breakfast at the hotel in Arusha and your guide will pick you up as you prepare for the drive to Serengeti national park. You will drive for about 7 to 8 hours to get to Serengeti national park where you will check in at the lodge and prepare for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3 and 4; full day in Serengeti national park
You will enjoy 2 days of exploring the vast savannah of Serengeti national park during the safari which will start with breakfast early in the morning and also engage in a morning game drive. During the morning game drive, you will search for wildlife species like herds of elephants, wildebeests, hippos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, kudu, hippos, cheetahs, lions, leopards among others.
After a morning game drive around Serengeti national park, you will have lunch and later you will tour more of the national park on an afternoon game drive. After the full day wildlife safari experience, you will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar and Stone town tour
After having breakfast at the lodge in Serengeti national park, you will be driven to the airstrip by your guide for the flight to Zanzibar island.
You will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar by your guide and you will be driven to the hotel for check in. You will also have an optional tour around Stone town as you enjoy getting to know about the cultural diversity of the people of Zanzibar island and also visit different landmarks around Stone town before returning to the hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 6; safari blue experience
On the 6th day of your 10 days Serengeti and Zanzibar tour, Your breakfast will be served at the hotel ahead of the safari blue excursion which is the best boat tour on the island. During the activity, you will sail on the Indian ocean in the beautiful traditional Dhows.
During the boat ride, you will also be served a delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks. You will also engage in snorkeling during the safari blue tour and also visit Menai Bay. After the safari blue tour, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7; city tour, visit Prison island and spice tour
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will set out for a tour around Zanzibar and the day will start with a visit to the famous Prison island in Zanzibar. You will go by boat from Stone town to Changuu island which is known for the Giant tortoises.
During your tour of the Prison island you will also engage in swimming and also snorkeling and later return to Stone town. You will later engage in a spice tour and explore the plantations of Zanzibar where different exotic spices are grown such as cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to the hotel for dinner and to spend the night.

Day 8 and day 9; Zanzibar beach experience
On the 8th day of your 10 days Serengeti and Zanzibar tour, Your day will start with breakfast at the hotel ahead of a day by the white sand beaches where you can take walks or relax under the shade of the palm trees. You will relax by the beach and enjoy an island holiday with sun, sand and beach and also enjoy the breeze and the views of the Indian ocean. After the day at the beach, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10; Departure
On the last day of the holiday, you will have breakfast at the hotel ahead of the drive to the airport which will bring your Zanzibar holiday to an end.
