3 Days Gorilla Habituation Safari
The 3 days gorilla habituation safari is an interesting gorilla safari that will take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is located in southwestern Uganda. Bwindi impenetrable national park is known for harboring the highest number of mountain gorillas, which are found in four sectors, namely the Rushaga sector in the south, the Ruhija sector in the East, the Nkuringo sector in the south and the Buhoma sector in the north. During this Uganda gorilla safari, you will be able to spend four hours with the endangered mountain gorillas during the gorilla habituation experience.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the first day of the 3 Days gorilla habituation safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide from your hotel in Entebbe or Entebbe international airport to start the safari to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
It’s a whole day journey and on the way, you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe, where you will buy souvenirs and take photos. From the Equator, you will have another stopover for an en-route lunch and then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 Days gorilla habituation safari, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla habituation briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle with an experienced park guide in search of the mountain gorillas. Gorilla habituation takes a whole day and during trekking, you will be able to view other primate species, birds, and plant and tree species, among others.
Once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their habitat, which gives you a chance to watch them feeding, breastfeeding, playing, resting, and grooming young ones; learn more about their behaviors and characters; engage in the naming process; and take photos and record videos.
After the encounter with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point, where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in the gorilla habituation experience and later meet up with your driver guide to return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure to Kampala/Entebbe
On the last day of the 3 Days gorilla habituation safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for an en-route lunch and then continue to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice depending on your schedule, which brings you to the end of the 3 Days gorilla habituation safari.
