Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Maasai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Airport Pickup, Transfer to Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
On day 1 of the 6 Days Maasai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Safari, upon arrival at the NBO, our Kenya safari guide shall pick you up and after a short briefing, drive along the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve Kenya. Once in the park, embark on a game drive in the park punctuated with a picnic lunch. Enjoy wild game viewing as you transfer to your camp of stay. Check in at the camp, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Sentrim Mara Camp.

Day 2: Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve
On the 2nd day of the 6 Days Maasai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Safari, wake up to a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara after breakfast at the lodge and get to see various wild games in the park, including the big 5 animals. Look out for various birds in Maasai Mara, as well as the beautiful landscape of the park. Enjoy your lunch in the wilderness, and then head out for yet another game drive in the Maasai Mara. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Flight to Entebbe (Own Booking)

Transfer to Nairobi arriving in time for your flight to Entebbe. Upon your arrival in Entebbe, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay. Check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Best Western Hotel.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours. Flight Option Available
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park famous for inhabiting the endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy lunch en route. Connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Experience
Have breakfast and transfer to park offices for a briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at a very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves.
After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge. Depending on the time you return from the trekking activity, you may do an optional community tour. Have dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 6: Departure
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours. Flight Option Available
On the last day of your safari, you will have breakfast and check out of your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Entebbe with lunch en route and your guide will drop you off at the airport in time for your flight back to Nairobi where you will connect to your flight back home. This brings your 6 Days at Maasai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Safari to an end.
