Qambani Luxury Resort is a high-class resort on Zanzibar’s eastern shore, on the tip of the Michamvi Peninsula. The trip to the lodge takes an hour and a half across the island after a 15-minute flight from Dar es Salaam. Qambani offers 270m of beachfront and breathtaking ocean views, perched on a low cliff above a white sand beach. The guest house, which was originally built as a family residence, has now opened its doors to the public and provides high-quality accommodations with highly individualized service.
Qambani has a modern yet authentically African flavor to it, and it represents the proprietors’ own sensibilities. On the walls, contemporary African artwork hangs, and neutral colors are enlivened with vivid reds and blues. The atmosphere of Qambani is one of relaxation and enjoyment of the environment. The kind personnel will do everything they can to make you feel at ease.
The six air-conditioned villas range in size and enjoy ocean views. Each room includes an electronic safe, a coffee maker, a minibar, Wi-Fi, and a music system. Qambani offers a wide range of activities. Kayaks and reef tours with a local guide are offered.
Watersports and diving can be arranged with the local PADI dive center. Qambani is a sophisticated seaside getaway with plenty of personality and flare. Although the spacious and opulent villas allow lots of seclusion, the staff members take great satisfaction in pampering their guests and creating a pleasant and homely atmosphere.
